When it comes to digital music the Apple iPod is a well known name. For a simple answer to the question, “Which mp3 player should I buy?” it would really be a matter of which iPod should you pick.
But why should you own an iPod. I mean, just because everyone else does, is that the only reason you should?
Nope, I’ll give you 5 reasons you should own an iPod.
1. Massive Music Storage
It doesn’t matter which iPod you choose, you’re going to have a lot of storage for your music. Even the smallest sized iPod, the iPod shuffle, holds 240 songs. That’s 1GB that holds 240 songs. Just think of the storage in an 80GB video iPod.
2. More Than Just Music
The Apple iPod can do more than just store your favorite music. You can download videos, games and podcasts also. Podcasts are basically radio shows you can download anytime you want and listen to. Instead of waiting for your favorite radio show to come on, just download the podcast and start listening. You can watch movie trailers, or even entire movies. You can also download your favorite TV shows.
3. Portability
You would think that a gadget with that much capacity would be enormous, but an 80GB iPod Video is quite thin an you can easily slip into your pocket. You can have your entertainment everywhere you go.
4. Awesome Accessories
When you buy an iPod, you’re probably excited about how great this new gadget is and how you’ll have all your favorite music and videos in one place. Then you’ll find that there is an enormous array of accessories you can add to your iPod. You can get awesome cases, ear phones, docks… and all they do is make your iPod better!
5. It’s Freakin’ Awesome
Basically, iPods are awesome. You have huge amounts of storage, ease of use and the ability to customize it. Jumping on the bandwagon has never been so easy.
There are a lot of different types of mp3 players to choose from out there and some put up fierce competition for the iPod. However, in the five or so years the iPod’s been around it has held it’s own in the media player field. If you want an awesome media player for all your favorite entertainment, you really can’t go wrong with an Apple iPod.
